The Cornerstone Network is delighted to announce the main sponsor for our Annual Conference’s Gala Dinner is Swansea Building Society. The Gala Dinner is our chance to celebrate the achievements and successes of our advisers over the past year, recognising their accomplishments with a prestigious awards ceremony.
Founded as a mutual in 1923, Swansea Building Society celebrates a remarkable century of service this year. As part of its centenary celebrations, Swansea Building Society has donated more than £100,000 to numerous local charities, with additional significant donations made to other worthy causes, including its official staff charity, Maggie’s Swansea.
The Society maintained accessible branches throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing its unwavering commitment to the local community, and adhering to its ethos of ‘opening, not closing, branches’ and having mortgage managers available to contact when needed.
The Society’s principal objective has always been the provision of loans secured on residential property. These loans are funded by personal savings deposited in the variety of savings accounts it offers. The Society has its HO in Swansea and four branch offices across South Wales with managers onsite specialising in mortgages which the high street lenders shy away from. If you are looking for a lender lending in England and Wales with a personal, tailored, common-sense approach to lending, they are the lender to speak to. With no credit scoring and all cases manually underwritten, contact the Swansea Building Society team to talk through any cases you have to find out what makes their approach to lending different.
